I have the same identical watch with a white dial and the parts I don’t like is the polished dazzle or center links they scratch entirely to easy and they look horrible when they do get scratched other than that I love the watch

So nearly got one of these on sale, but cant understand why they have the steel bracelets the way round they do. the 39mm intage size face with a modern bracelet then the 41mm with the vintage style steel bracelet

Are you getting accurate time because most of the automatic watches facing these problems like time runs faster 2 to 3 minutes or slower.

I really love your videos because you demonstrated with a real watch. Not some repetitive AI-generated content or a UA-camr talk with multiple snapshots for 12 minutes.

I've loved this watch from a distance, but I found the the case a little thick and the 3-6-9 seemed odd and out of place. But this new version is outstanding. Finally seeing one in person today, I'm even more impressed. Every watch has a few flaws, but this is still an outstanding timepiece.

This ratings idiocy gives the expensive luxury makers an excuse to NOT do sufficient water-proofing. Casio's 10 to 100 dollar per watch OLD water chart looks way different, and allows for a lot more, than all these umpty-thousand dollar per watch Swiss rip-off artists! The "dynamic" pressure, that is added, when you swing your arm back and forth for paddling is far less than one extra ATM or bar or 10meters. Swinging your arm back and forth at 5 m/s, which is 18 Km/h , 11 mph, or 10 Knots, generates 1/10th of an extra Atmosphere, and that is more than twice of what a well trained swimmer can do, when they do a world record speed max of 5 mph! Swimming with a 30meter watch should be just fine, as long as you do not jump-dive into the water! There must be a South African connection to Draken watches. Drakensberg - a mountain range in SA. Tugela* - a major river in SA. (*This watch features Mont au Sources in the Drakensberg on its caseback). Benguela - an ocean current on SA's west coast. Kruger - the major national park in SA. I would guess that owner Mike is a "Saffer". Nice watches at very keen prices. I wonder how Mike gets a supply of an ETA movement from the Swatch Group in Switzerland... Kudos to him, though!

The 39mm looks the best of the lot. I like the balance in the text and 41 for a no complication/dive bezel looks odd. The new 36 are closer to 35, unlike the perfect 36 oysters of the past. This will end up holding the most value over time IMHO.

Nice looking watch, but the movement is not easy to regulate and Certina factory in Switzerland "allegedly" regulates their watches only in 3 positions. In my experoence, Certina doesn't bother to regulate their watches at all. Instead, relying on buyers being perfectly happy with the watch losing, or gaining time and adjusting the watch once in a while. You will fknd, that all models in the Certina range are heavily discounted by authorised dealers. There is a valid reason behind it. If you decide to buy a cheap watch, make sure that dealership has an inhouse timegrapher and can test it for you, before you part with your money.

nice ,but like few others ,this type of so called GMT make the same mistake that the very small 24 hr maker is unreadable from a distance to be useful to make it worse it's printed on a sloped surface in fine print

The early millennium Seamaster is a keeper as the aesthetic of the dial and bracelet are so legendary and a real entry into Swiss luxury.

I have the same watch but in black it gives of lovely submariner vibes without losing it's own identity. I also have a newer aqua racer in blue, I like how Tag change the look slightly every new release so you can add more of them to your collection and even though they are the same model they are different enough in looks that you don't feel like you are just buying the same watch again and again

Great collection. If I may…You seem to value more simple, straightforward designs of watches that are on the radar in terms of being iconic. What about completing the set with an IWC Mark 20 or Spitfire? Seems a flieger like this would round off your incredible collection nicely, and fit into your preferences regarding design aesthetic.

The new Omega Speedy wears smaller, hope you get the new one. Don’t sell Rolex! It’s forbidden within the church of Plastic and latter day saints! Next on the chopping board should be the Tag and the Tissot, add back the new speedy and don’t go crazy just enjoy and stop!
